Pioneer Heritage Insurance was established in 2003, from the merger of Pioneer Associates of Spicer, Heritage Insurance & Financial, and Green Lake Agency. Since that time, the company has grown to include four locations in Willmar , Pennock, Raymond, and Spicer, Minnesota , making Pioneer Heritage Insurance one of the largest independent agencies in the area. We represent a variety of highly respected insurance companies to assure you that your policy will be placed with a sound, competitive market. We are proud of our experienced staff who will personally work with you to meet all of your insurance needs.

Our agency in Pennock is located in the Heritage Bank building, just one block north of US Highway 12. Kevin Crowley is the agency branch manager with over 25 years of experience in the insurance business, specializing in crop and multi-peril insurance as well as farm coverage. Barb Riley is a fully-licensed agent/CSR with 20 years of experience and has earned her CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation. Danell Johnson is a fully licensed agent/CSR who handles the service work for the Pennock and Willmar offices in addition to writing all lines of new business.

Jim Tetzloff is the agency branch manager at our Willmar office, located in the Heritage Bank building on the corner of First Street and Litchfield Avenue. Jim has over 20 years experience as an agent, and carries the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation. He handles a book of personal and commercial lines insurance and is responsible for keeping our web-site and computers up and running.

In 2004, Pioneer Heritage Insurance acquired the former Farmers State Agency in Raymond, located in the newly remodeled Heritage Bank building, just one block north of MN Highway 23.

Our Spicer office is located one block west of MN Highway 23 in the newly built Heritage Bank complex, which houses our agency, Heritage Bank, and Deidre's Espresso Café & Bakery Shop. All three businesses are connected by common doorways for your one-stop shopping and dining convenience. Ken Ohl is the President/General Manager of Pioneer Heritage Insurance who carries the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation and has over 30 years experience as an agent. Lori Holmberg, fully-licensed full-time agent, has over 20 years experience in the insurance industry, and specializes in personal and commercial property/casualty coverages. Ronda Habicht and Berni Schwaegerl are both fully licensed agents and CSR's who handle the service work for the Spicer office, in addition to writing all lines of new business. Nancy Sondrol is our Bookkeeper who oversees accounting and payroll functions for our four locations, and Verona Thompson is our Receptionist with over 35 years of insurance experience who will cheerfully greet you when you call our office. Cindy Ohl, also fully-licensed, is a commercial CSR and handles the service work on business accounts.
