Founded in 2003 through the merger of Heritage Insurance and Financial, Pioneer Associates of Spicer, and Green Lake Agency, Pioneer Heritage Insurance LLC has grown into one of the largest independent insurance agencies in the region. Our expansion continued with the acquisition of Willmar Insurance Agency in 2012 and the opening of our Litchfield office in 2017. Today, we proudly serve clients from five locations: Spicer, Willmar, Pennock, Raymond, and Litchfield, Minnesota.

• Jim Tetzloff, President of PHI, brings over 35 years of industry experience, nearly 30 of those with PHI. He focuses on commercial lines and company relations.

• Brian Nelson, Agent, serves both commercial and personal lines clients.

• Karla Ohden, Bookkeeper, manages accounting and payroll, along with some customer service responsibilities.

• Denise Dierenfeld, Licensed CSR, supports internal operations and assists with customer inquiries.

• Chris Brogdon, Agent, Licensed in property/casualty and life/health across MN, ND, and SD.

• Kevin Crowley, Agent, has over 40 years of experience and specializes in crop insurance.

• Danell Johnson, Agent, handles crop insurance service and writes personal lines.

• Chloe Rohner, Agent, specializing in personal lines, farm, and crop insurance.

Willmar Office

• Sarah Gustafson, Agent and Operations Manager, has 20+ years of experience. She oversees HR and organizational processes.

• Breck Erickson, Agent, works with personal lines, farm clients, and small commercial businesses.

• Trisha Kruse, Agent, has 20+ years of experience and works with personal, commercial, and life/health clients.

• Krys Berggren, Agent, brings extensive sales and customer service experience, focusing on personal lines.

• Kelsie Gilbertson, Agent, with 20+ years of experience working with personal, farm, and commercial clients as well as life and health. 

• Barry Anderson, Agent, with 40+ years of experience, works with personal and commercial clients.
