Pioneer Heritage Insurance LLC, was established in 2003 from the merger of Heritage Insurance and Financial, Pioneer Associates of Spicer, and Green Lake Agency. In 2012, we acquired the Willmar Insurance Agency and then in 2017, expanded into Litchfield. Currently, we have five locations including Spicer, Willmar, Pennock, and two offices in Litchfield, Minnesota, making Pioneer Heritage Insurance one of the largest independent agencies in the area. We represent a variety of highly respected insurance companies to assure you that your policy will be placed with a sound, competitive market. Jim Tetzloff, President of PHI, is in our Spicer office and has over 35 years of experience in the industry, almost 30 of them with PHI. He works mainly with commercial lines clients and company relations. Brian Nelson, Agent, works in both commercial and personal lines of insurance. Karla Ohden, Bookkeeper, handles our accounting and payroll functions as well as some CSR responsibilities while Denise Dierenfeld, our newest CSR, assists with all the “behind the scenes” details and helps with customer calls and questions. 
 
Our Pennock office is staffed by Kevin Crowley, an Agent with 40+ years of experience and our crop insurance specialist. Danell Johnson, Agent, handles the service work for our crop insurance clients as well as writing personal lines. Chloe Lien, Agent, recently joined our team.
 
Sarah Gustafson in our Willmar Branch has 20+ years of experience as an Agent and is our operations Manager. She handles HR functions and organizational processes while Mackenzie Bowman works as the CSR as well as keeping our social media current and relevant. Breck Erickson, an Agent, has been with us since 2022 and works with personal lines and farm clients as well as small commercial businesses. 
 
Our Litchfield office is staffed by Trisha Kruse, who has been an agent since 2003 and came to us in 2019. She writes commercial, personal lines, life/health. Krys Berggren is an Agent that came to us with years of sales and customer service experience and works mainly in personal lines. Amanda Duarte, CSR, handles the service work for the Litchfield office and became licensed in 2018.

Our newest Litchfield office is staffed by Kelsie Gilbertson, an Agent who specializes in farm and personal lines, Barry Anderson and Linda Schoolmeesters.
